The Ben Banky bursary, established by Tall Grass Inc. in memory of Ben Banky, is awarded annually through the Hornby Blues Society to support students pursuing music education. 

The successful applicant for the Ben Banky bursary will be awarded a cash value that covers student fees plus extra for travel or accommodation expenses (amount varies each year – typically about $1000).

To qualify for this bursary, you must express financial need.

Preference will given to younger applicants.
BC residents will be considered first, then the rest of Canada.

Any and all classes are available to this student.
